About this care
BSO Het Waterschip is located at Burgemeester Beyenstraat 79 in Pernis, Rotterdam. We are part of Stichting Humankind and provide after-school care for up to 65 children aged 4 to 12. Our location has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 September 2019 under number 106924849. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:00 and work closely with CBS Het Waterschip, which is housed in the same building. Children can join us before school, during the lunch break and after school, as well as during school holidays and study days. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to offer children a safe, familiar and challenging environment in which they can play, relax and discover new things. Summary
Het Waterschip in Pernis Rotterdam, an after-school care (BSO) for 65 children aged 4 to 13, was subject to a further investigation by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) on 28 May 2026. This investigation focused on the quality requirement 'Duty to report, consult, and file', which had not been in order during previous inspections on 28 April 2025 and 26 January 2026. At that time, staff were insufficiently familiar with their obligations regarding suspected abuse or mistreatment. The provider has since taken several measures, including workshops, training on 2 September 2025, and team meetings. During this further investigation, it was found that staff are now aware of their reporting duty and how to contact the confidential inspector. The violation is therefore no longer identified.
