Summary

GGD Gelderland-Zuid conducted an unannounced annual inspection at BSO De Dromedaris in Beuningen on 23 April 2026. The after-school care (BSO), operated by KION Kinderopvang B.V., accommodates 55 children across three base groups. The inspection assessed the pedagogical policy, staff and groups, and the premises. All examined quality requirements have been met. The pedagogical policy is implemented well; children are involved in activities and the staff members are well informed. Staffing levels meet all legal requirements, including the staff-to-child ratio and the three-hour rule. The indoor and outdoor spaces are sufficiently large, safe, and appropriately furnished. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
