About this care
Welcome to De Bosuiltjes Daycare, located on the beautiful Berg & Bosch estate in Bilthoven. We offer small-scale, professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 in a safe and homely environment. Our location features a large forest playground where children can explore and play freely.
At De Bosuiltjes, we work with horizontal groups: two baby groups for children aged 0 to 2 and two toddler groups for children aged 2 to 4. Our pedagogical staff are specially trained in baby and toddler care. For toddlers, we use the Uk & Puk development program, focusing on language, motor skills, and social development.
Personal attention is at the heart of our approach. We work with a dedicated team of caring and enthusiastic staff. We provide a rich learning environment where play and learning go hand in hand. Music and movement are a standard part of our daily activities.
Children receive a healthy, warm meal every day, freshly prepared and adapted to any food allergies. We use a parent app to keep parents updated on their child’s daily experiences.

Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Bosuiltjes in Bilthoven, part of Kind&Co Ludens, was subject to an unannounced annual inspection by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Utrecht region on 18 August 2026. The location provides care for 52 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided across 4 groups. All three assessed domains – pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation – meet statutory requirements. One point of attention was identified: not all play equipment in the Bostuin was certified. The location responded by cordoning off and removing the equipment; new play equipment will be installed. The inspector identified no major safety risks. No recovery offer (herstelaanbod) was required. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
