About this care
Welcome to BSO De Boomhut, located on the same grounds as primary school De Klim at Lennisheuvel 52 in the green heart of Boxtel. As part of Kindercentrum Kindertuin, we have been providing small-scale after-school care since 2010, with personal attention and a homely atmosphere at the heart of everything we do.
Our vertical group accommodates up to 32 children aged 4 to 12. Children find themselves in a pleasant, cozy village atmosphere where the youngest children, their parents and our pedagogical staff get to know each other well. We work closely with primary school De Klim, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care.
De Boomhut features a large and challenging schoolyard with its own football field where children can really let off steam after school. Our activities are always tailored to the age and personal development of each child. We believe that the child itself is the best guide and therefore give children all the space to discover, play and develop at their own pace.
Our experienced pedagogical staff are ready from Monday to Friday after school until 6:30 PM to make every day a celebration together with the children. After-school care (BSO) De Boomhut in Boxtel was inspected on 12 February 2026 by GGD Hart voor Brabant. The location provides care for 32 children aged 4 to 13 years in two base groups. Overall, the childcare provision meets the quality requirements well. The pedagogical climate is positive: children feel emotionally safe, receive individual attention, and are encouraged in their self-reliance and social development. One violation was identified regarding staff and groups: cleaners working in the school building did not have a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and were not registered in the Childcare Personnel Register, despite being structurally present during childcare hours. The provider was given a recovery offer and has complied with it: as of 1 April 2026, it could be demonstrated that at least one cleaner had since been properly registered. The remaining staff members will follow. The advice to the municipality is no enforcement action.
