In the middle of the meadows, yet close to the city, you will find our daycare center De Boerderij. Here you experience peace and space while playing with mud, sand and your wheelbarrow, while the cows walk along the grass field. When you're tired, you can quietly fall asleep in our outdoor beds with the sound of birds and rustling trees in the background. After your nap, we put on our overalls for a visit to the goats or rabbits. Growing up in the city and still enjoying life on the farm - with us it's possible!

Summary
Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Boerderij Voordorpsedijk in Groenekan provides care for a maximum of 23 children in two groups aged 0-4 years. During the annual unannounced inspection visit on 25 August 2025, it was found that the location meets statutory requirements in all areas examined, after one violation was resolved through a recovery offer. The pedagogical policy was initially incomplete: the description was missing regarding how parents are informed about who their child's mentor is. Following supplementation of the policy on 9 September 2025, the location is now fully compliant. The pedagogical practice provides children with emotional security, developmental stimulation and social guidance. All staff hold the correct qualifications, Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) statements and are properly registered. There is sufficient deployment of pedagogical policy staff and coaching for the team. The advice to the municipality is to take no enforcement action.
