Kinderdagverblijf De Binnenhaven is a small-scale and homely daycare centre on Kop van Zuid, in the Feijenoord district of Rotterdam. The location has been completely renovated and offers care for children aged 0-4 in two horizontal groups: baby group Vlinders (0-2 years) and toddler group Rupsen (2-4 years). As part of Kiddoozz Rotterdam B.V., we provide personal care in a familiar environment with plenty of attention for your child's development. We work with the Uk and Puk preschool programme and offer a healthy, fresh, warm meal daily through Madaga. Open 52 weeks per year, Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 18:30, with the possibility to swap care days. Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Rotterdam-Rijnmond conducted an unannounced follow-up inspection on 24 September 2026 at Kiddoozz KDV De Binnenhaven, a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) with 28 places for children aged 0 to 4 years. The inspection focused on the safety and health policy, which had already been found non-compliant during multiple previous inspections. Although some points have improved (new refrigerator thermometers, clearing the outdoor area, discussions with staff), new violations were identified during this check. There was no thermometer in the baby group and opened cheese packages in the refrigerator were not provided with date labels, despite this being required in the policy. The location has an ongoing administrative fine from the municipality. The GGD advises enforcement.
