The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report of 5 June 2026 for daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Dans Kinderopvang - Twinkel location in Doetinchem presents a mixed picture. At the follow-up investigation, conducted after earlier violations and an order subject to a penalty for non-compliance, two of the three examined shortcomings have been resolved. The health and safety policy is now up to date and tailored to the location, including risk descriptions for the present shallow pools (wadi's). The deployment of the pedagogical policy officer for early childhood education (voorschoolse educatie) also now meets the requirements. Unfortunately, two violations remain: early childhood education is still not being implemented according to the methodology (missing materials and setup), and the provider is not posting inspection reports correctly on the website. The GGD advises the municipal executive to take enforcement action.
