About this care
In the stately and characteristic building of primary school De Parkiet you will find our atmospheric BSO Dak Parkietlaan. The large windows provide plenty of light and the decoration with curtains and cozy corners gives a familiar feeling. In the open kitchen we bake and cook the tastiest snacks. From the group there is direct access to the outdoor space to run, cycle or climb in one of the climbing frames. And with forest and dunes within walking distance, there is plenty to discover outside the location as well.
At Dak Parkietlaan we stand for growing up in the neighborhood. We offer after-school care to a maximum of 21 children aged 4 to 13. Our opening hours are after school until 6:30 PM, on weekdays from Monday to Friday. We work together with your child's (future) school and offer a safe place where children can play, discover and grow.
Our unit manager Ashley van den Berg says: "With us, every child is central. We see, hear and appreciate who they are, while they grow and discover through play." We invite you to come for a personal, no-obligation tour so you can experience the after-school care at Dak Parkietlaan for yourself.Read more

Summary
The annual inspection by GGD Haaglanden at after-school care (BSO) Dak Parkietlaan in 's-Gravenhage shows a predominantly positive picture. The location, part of Stichting DAK kindercentra, provides care for a maximum of 21 children aged 4-6 years in one group. On all examined items – pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights – the legal requirements have been met. No violations were identified. However, the operator was alerted to possible lead pipes in the building (built before 1960), in light of an upcoming ban on these. The location must take appropriate measures if necessary.
