The annual inspection by GGD Veiligheids- en Gezondheidsregio Gelderland Midden at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) CompaNanny Reehorst in Ede shows that the location fully complies with all quality requirements of the Childcare Act. The new location, opened in September 2024, provides care for 67 children across five groups. The inspection assessed all domains positively: administration, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation, and parental rights. The pedagogical practice is characterized by sensitive responsive behavior from childcare professionals, emotional safety, and good structure. All staff members hold the correct diplomas and Certificate of Conduct (VOG). One minor finding concerned a broken latch on the gate at the outdoor staircase, which was immediately secured with a temporary fix and for which repairs have been arranged. No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
