About this care
Just outside the centre of Apeldoorn and surrounded by nature at Pinksterbloem 36, you'll find CompaNanny Mheenpark. At this location we have a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) where we provide daily care for children aged 0-4 years. Our daycare center is all about playing and discovering together, in our challenging groups or during outings. With our age-appropriate activities for every age group, we always respond to your child's developmental stage. We work with our own carefully developed pedagogical vision that forms the basis for our mindful working method, well-trained staff and extra services for parents.
At our small-scale location in a building with authentic details, we have 3 baby groups (0-2 years), 1 toddler/preschool group (1.5-3 years) and 2 preschool groups (2-4 years). The location is warmly and homely furnished. This helps children feel at home quickly. The building has two inner gardens where children can move, discover and play. In poor weather, there is a play hall where children can burn off their energy.
At CompaNanny Mheenpark we offer healthy meals and have a play hall for bad weather. Our staff are well-trained and work according to a mindful working method. Parents can register their children via the 'vrijblijvend inschrijven' button on our website. We also offer the possibility to request a tour or take a virtual look inside via a 360° tour. We are ready to offer your child a second home where they can grow and flourish in a loving environment.Read more

Summary
GGD Noord- en Oost-Gelderland visited daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) CompaNanny Mheenpark in Apeldoorn on 23 September 2025 for the annual risk-based supervision visit. The daycare center offers 95 horizontal group places and works with a development-oriented approach. Following a recovery offer, all assessed regulatory requirements are now met. There was one violation: an employee was not properly linked in the childcare personnel register; this link has since been restored (1 October 2025). The pedagogical climate scores positively: the policy is complete, is applied thoroughly, and provides children with emotional safety, developmental stimulation, and language enrichment. All staff hold the correct diplomas, Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) statements, and meet the language requirement; the staff-to-child ratio was in order during the visit. A pedagogical coach is present who coaches staff on Pikler principles, learning objectives, and case discussions. An area of attention is the indoor climate: in August, sleeping areas measured 26–27 °C. The location temporarily used a cooler group room as an emergency space and is working on a structural climate system (plan to be completed by end of 2025). The municipality is advised not to pursue enforcement action.
