Welcome to CompaNanny Hendrik Smitstraat! Our childcare center is nestled right in nature, bordering heathland and forest, offering a warm, homely environment for children aged 0–4. Our location in North Hilversum is easily accessible via the main roads from Bussum (Media Park) and Laren (A1).
At CompaNanny Hendrik Smitstraat, we have a baby group (0–2 years) and a toddler group (2–4 years). Both groups are bright and spacious, with a large garden where children can play to their heart's content. The best thing about our location is that the forest, the heath, and the Erfgooierskwartier playground are all just a few minutes' walk away. In the afternoon, we serve a delicious, healthy hot lunch.
Our daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) is all about playing and discovering together, with age-appropriate activities for every group. We work with our own pedagogical vision, which forms the foundation for our mindful approach. Our well-trained staff provide a safe, stimulating environment. The staff know the children well, provide emotional safety, stimulate language development and social competence, and actively guide children in learning group agreements. All staff are correctly registered in the persons register, hold the proper qualifications, and adequate staff-to-child ratios are in place. The pedagogical policy staff member/coach is deployed sufficiently and staff receive annual coaching. No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
