The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected the after-school care (BSO) Club Basker Sport - de Rusheuvel in Oss on 15 January 2026. The location provides care for 34 children aged 4 to 13 years in two base groups, housed at Hockeyclub MHC Oss. Overall, the childcare meets the quality requirements well. The pedagogical climate is positive: staff act sensitively and responsively, rules are applied consistently and children feel emotionally safe. Staff and group sizes, accommodation and parental rights also meet the requirements. There were two violations regarding safety and health: the daily inspection of the outdoor grounds for cigarette butts and litter was not carried out systematically, and staff had insufficient knowledge of the mandatory reporting, consultation and disclosure obligations. Both violations were corrected through a recovery offer. The GGD advises the municipality not to take enforcement measures.
