About this care
Welcome to the after-school care of CBS De Bron PlusKindopvang in Nijensleek. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 years at our child center located at Hoofdweg 136. As part of PlusKinderopvang, we work closely with CBS De Bron, allowing children to transition directly after school to a familiar and safe environment.
Our after-school care is specifically designed to meet the needs of school-age children. We offer both before and after-school care, where children have the space to relax after a school day, learn through play, and discover new things. The location is housed in the same building as the primary school, ensuring a seamless transition between school and childcare.
We create a warm and challenging environment where children feel safe and can develop their talents. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide children in activities that match their interests and developmental stage. Summary
The annual unannounced inspection on 24 February 2026 at after-school care (BSO) Cbs De Bron in Nijensleek, conducted by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Drenthe, shows a positive picture. The location of Plus Kinderopvang accommodates up to 30 children and uses spaces in the school and the school playground. Both the pedagogical climate and staff and groups meet all statutory requirements. The pedagogical practice is characterised by a relaxed, safe atmosphere in which staff members communicate warmly, respectfully, and clearly. Children are given room for independence and are encouraged in their social development. All staff members hold valid Certificates of Conduct (Verklaringen omtrent het Gedrag/VOG), proper diplomas, and meet the language requirement. The deployment of the pedagogical policy officer has been demonstrated convincingly. The licence holder agrees with the report. No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
