Buitenschoolse Opvang Madeliefje is located at Brederodegracht 1 in Hoorn, in the heart of the Kersenboogerd community centre. We provide after-school care for up to 28 children aged 4 to 12. Our day-care centre and after-school care are housed in the same building, making it convenient for parents with children of different ages.
We focus on creating an inspiring play and learning environment tailored to each child’s age and interests. Physical activity is important to us! That is why we devote extra attention to activities such as music, dance, drama and yoga. Summary
After-school care (BSO) Madeliefje in Hoorn was subject to an unannounced follow-up inspection by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Noorden on 22 September 2026. This inspection followed an annual inspection in June 2026 during which violations were identified regarding the Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and the Childcare Personnel Register (PRK). A board member was not properly registered and linked in the PRK. The provider made use of a recovery offer, but was unable to fully resolve the violation within the deadline because the VOG application required more time. This follow-up inspection has shown that the board member has since obtained the correct VOG and is properly linked in the PRK. The violation has thus been resolved.
