Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Noorden inspected after-school care (BSO) Klavertje 4 in Alkmaar on 24 March 2026. The after-school care accommodates 22 children aged 4 to 13 years. Initially, violations were identified in the area of safety and health policy: children were not wearing safety vests during walks to non-adjacent outdoor areas and the policy was insufficiently up-to-date and insufficiently a continuous process with staff. Following a recovery offer of 3 weeks, the provider took adequate measures: safety vests were ordered and purchased, the policy was updated and discussed with the team. Ultimately, all assessed conditions were met. The GGD advises the municipality of Alkmaar not to take enforcement measures.
