Buitenschoolse opvang De Beiaard is located inside primary school De Beiaard at Krijtenberg 3 in the Oosterheide district of Oosterhout. Care is provided in a homely atmosphere where children have freedom of choice in play and activities. There is a wide range of play materials available and activities are regularly offered by our pedagogical staff. During holidays we also organise joint activities for all BSO children, with participation available at no extra cost.

Summary
GGD West-Brabart conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 9 February 2026 at after-school care (BSO) De Beiaard in Oosterhout. The location provides care for up to 70 children aged 4 to 13 years in two base groups. Overall, the location meets legal requirements well. The pedagogical climate was assessed positively: staff members connect well with the children's developmental stage, encourage independence, and ensure a safe, positive atmosphere. Safety and health are also in order. One violation was identified: a new board member of the foundation was registered in the childcare persons register but not linked to the holder. This constitutes a violation of the Childcare Act. The holder carried out the recovery offer within half an hour of notification by completing the linkage. The GGD therefore advises the municipality not to apply enforcement.
