About this care
Welcome to BuitenRijck, our childcare center in the new RijswijkBuiten district. We provide children aged 0 to 4 with a trusted place where they can develop optimally. Our daycare is part of Kindcentrum BuitenRijck, a place where childcare, education and leisure time come together. The name BuitenRijck refers to 'being outside' and that is exactly what we find important: spending lots of time outdoors in our green environment.
With us, the child's own direction is central. We work from three pillars: 'influence on your own course', 'in motion' and 'togetherness'. This means we give each child space to develop in their own way, within clear boundaries. We alternate concentration and relaxation well and consider 'going outside' in all seasons an important part of our activities.
Our pedagogical staff create a nurturing, development-oriented environment together with the children. We work closely with parents and other stakeholders to best meet each child's needs. Our location in RijswijkBuiten is a growing district with lots of greenery and water, where children can play and discover in a safe, car-free environment.

Strengths
- The pedagogical policy is implemented well in practice, including mentorship for all children
- All childcare professionals hold appropriate qualifications and meet the IKK language proficiency requirement
- All staff members are correctly registered in the Childcare Personnel Register with valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)
- Dutch is used correctly as the language of communication
- The domestic violence and child abuse reporting protocol is well implemented
- The premises are appropriately furnished
- Pediatric first aid is always available during opening hours

- Failure to meet the staff-child ratio on 10 August 2026 in the combined groups Gekko's and Schildpadden: 2 instead of the required 3 childcare professionals deployed until 14:30
- Missing location-specific arrangements regarding the four-eyes principle in the safety and health policy (resolved through recovery offer on 6 September 2026)
Summary
The annual inspection on 14 August 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) BuitenRijck in Rijswijk, part of Kinderopvang Morgen, presents a mixed picture. The location with 68 childcare places and 5 core groups meets the standards in most areas examined, but two violations were identified. One violation concerns the failure to meet the staff-child ratio on 10 August 2026, when too few staff were scheduled for the combined groups Gekko's and Schildpadden. This violation has not been resolved. The second violation concerned missing location-specific arrangements regarding the four-eyes principle in the safety and health policy. The provider made use of a recovery offer and supplemented this on 6 September 2026. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises enforcement in accordance with the municipal enforcement policy.
