Welcome to Buitengewoon van Kidsintown daycare, located at Laan van Providentia 7 in Sterksel. As a day-care centre we provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location is uniquely situated in the Kloostervelden district, surrounded by nature and featuring its own children’s farm and natural playground. Here children can play, explore and grow up among greenery and animals.
We are a small-scale, low-threshold centre where your baby or toddler will quickly feel at home. Our professional staff offer a child-centred approach and are highly committed to parents. We believe outdoor play is essential for children’s development: it is not only fun and healthy, but also stimulates imagination and self-confidence.

Summary
On 3 June 2026, GGD Brabant-Zuidoost conducted an unannounced follow-up investigation at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Buitengewoon of Kidsintown in Sterksel. The location provides care for up to 16 children aged 0-4 years in a former monastery. Multiple quality requirements have not been met. The pedagogical policy plan lacks concrete descriptions regarding knowledge transfer to school/after-school care (BSO) with parental consent, referral procedures for developmental concerns, how children are informed who their mentor is, and how children are settled into a new core group. Regarding staff and groups, there is a violation concerning the presence of an additional adult when only one qualified staff member is working; schedules show that trainees and BSO staff are not structurally available. The safety and health policy lacks risk analyses (including burn hazards from heating), a concrete action plan, and a feasible emergency backup arrangement. Previous recovery offers (February 2026) have been unsuccessful; violations have not been resolved. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises enforcement.
