BSO Zand op de Mat

At Zand op de Mat, we offer small-scale, homely childcare at three locations in Arnhem. Our daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV), located in Heijendaal care center, provides year-round care for children from 0 to 4 years old. Here we create a warm and safe environment where children feel cherished and supported. We work with natural materials and place great value on a healthy environment, offering children challenging play materials in both indoor and outdoor spaces. Our preschool/toddler care, located in the Calluna, provides care for toddlers from 2 to 4 years old during school weeks and school hours. Here we stimulate toddler development through play and interaction in a safe and inviting environment. The after-school care (BSO), located in the Heijenoordschool, offers care after school and during holidays for school children from 4 to 12 years old. We offer a varied range of activities, with lots of attention for outdoor play and the use of natural materials. At Zand op de Mat, we find it important that children feel at home and can develop optimally. We work respectfully with each other and our environment, and provide healthy nutrition. Our outdoor spaces invite climbing, scrambling and imaginative play, and we encourage children to spend lots of time outside. We are proud of our natural play environment and the warm atmosphere we create for all children who come to us.
