About this care
Welcome to ZamZam After-School Care at Beresteinlaan 629 in The Hague. We provide out-of-school care for up to 17 children aged 4 to 13, registered in the National Childcare Register under number 239195711. Our team is ready every weekday to offer a safe, homely place where children can relax, play and grow after school.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected the after-school care (BSO) location Zam Zam kinderopvang on Beresteinlaan in Den Haag on 3 February 2026. The care facility accommodates a maximum of 17 children (ages 4–13) at Yunus Emre primary school. Two violations were identified: a staff member who was not sufficiently qualified (only hbo propaedeutic diploma, at least 50% credits required) and missing concrete measures against suffocation and children going missing in the safety and health policy. The holder made use of a recovery offer for the safety policy violation; this violation was resolved as of 2 April 2026. The violation regarding qualification requirements was not resolved; the staff member has been working as a surplus group assistant since 1 May 2026. Furthermore, the location meets the requirements regarding pedagogical climate, staff registration, staff-to-child ratios, pedagogical coaching, stability, domestic violence reporting protocol, and parental rights. There is no parent committee yet, but the holder involves parents sufficiently in alternative ways.
