Welcome to YellowBellies Woerden West, the outdoor play BSO located at Waardsedijk 21 in Woerden. As part of YellowBellies, the outdoor childcare provider in the Groene Hart region, we offer a place where children aged 4 to 12 always have fun. Our focus is on outdoor play, movement, and a healthy lifestyle. Our pedagogical staff organize daily cool activities centered around fun and personal growth. We believe children thrive best in a challenging environment where they can play freely, engage in sports, and explore. With a maximum capacity of 25 children, we can give each child the attention they deserve. Summary
YellowBellies Woerden West is a small-scale after-school care (BSO) facility for up to 25 children aged 7–12, housed in the canteen of korfbal club Reflex. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 17 February 2025. All assessed quality requirements (pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, parental rights) are fully met; no violations or areas for improvement were identified. Key strengths include a clear pedagogical policy with a dedicated mentor per child, correct staffing levels (3 caregivers for 22 children), up-to-date safety and health plans, an active parent committee, and full registration in the Childcare Personnel Register. No recovery offer was necessary. The GGD advises the municipality not to take enforcement action.
