About this care
Welcome to YellowBellies Linschoten, our newest outdoor after-school care located at De Beide Vlooswijkenlaan 45 in Linschoten. Since 26 September 2024 we are licensed to welcome up to 33 children each day, offering a place where kids can relax, play and move after school.
Free time is key at our location. Children decide for themselves what they want to do: a game of dodgeball, live stratego or simply romping around outside. We devote a lot of attention to a healthy lifestyle; fresh vegetables and fruit are part of every day, so every child feels better and goes home with a smile.
Having fun is our trademark. We often hear children cry because they don’t want to leave yet, while parents can work without worry. Together with our pedagogical staff the children build a solid foundation for a healthy and active life. That’s a win-win!

Strengths
- Pedagogical policy and practice are fully satisfactory; children are given room for self-direction and freedom of choice
- Mentorship is well organised with annual observations and 'kanjer conversations' (strength-based parent meetings) with parents
- Professional approach to alcohol exposure risk: instructions to children, shielding of drinks, removal of tap by football club at BSO's request
- Staff meet all qualification and language requirements
- Sufficient staffing levels and stability of care
- Parent committee is active and well organised

- Staff members were not aware of the duty to consult and report suspected sexual offences or abuse by the holder/ultimate responsible party (resolved after recovery offer: flyer, repeated consultation, follow-up inspection 17 August 2026)
- One central annual complaints report from the holder was missing, in which all received complaints per location were made transparent (resolved after recovery offer: amended annual report submitted 4 August 2026)
Summary
Yellowbellies Linschoten is an after-school care (BSO) for a maximum of 33 children aged 4 to 12, located in the canteen of football club V.V. Linschoten.
