On 8 June 2026, GGD Fryslân conducted an unannounced annual inspection at BSO Witmarsum De Vrijbuiters, an after-school care (BSO) for up to 30 children (ages 4–13) operated by Kids First COP groep. The location has a group room, chill-out room, small activities room, and a spacious adjoining outdoor area. The inspection found that the childcare location meets all assessed statutory quality requirements. No shortcomings, areas for improvement, or violations were identified regarding staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation, and parental rights. Staff hold the correct qualifications, the staff-to-child ratio is in order, and the safety and health policy is up-to-date and complete. The licence holder did not avail themselves of the opportunity to submit a response.
