Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected BSO Wereldkidz Palet in Maarssen on 16 June 2026, part of Eigen & Wijzer Maarssen B.V. The location provides after-school care (BSO) for a maximum of 44 children aged 4 to 12 years in two base groups. The pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and parental rights were found to comply with the law immediately. For safety and health, there was initially a shortcoming: staff had insufficient knowledge of the mandatory reporting, consultation and filing obligations (MOA), including the role of the confidential inspector. Following a recovery offer, the location implemented improvement actions, including team discussions, refresher training and policy additions. Upon inspection, knowledge was found to be sufficiently promoted after all. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
