Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted a registration inspection on 23 June 2026 at BSO Vita in Megen, a new after-school care (BSO) location operated by AVEM Kinderopvang. The location provides care for 38 children (ages 4-13) in two base groups at sports park d'n Heuvel. The inspection assessed whether the operator could reasonably meet the quality requirements of the Childcare Act (Wet kinderopvang) at the start of operations (planned for 24 August 2026). All examined domains – general conditions, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation, and parental rights – were assessed positively. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. It should be noted that certain practical aspects, such as the actual implementation of policy and the use of Dutch as the language of communication, can only be fully assessed during the post-registration inspection.
