Summary

Kindercentrum Villa Bimbola (after-school care/BSO, 150 places, 6 groups, ages 4-12) was inspected unannounced on 25 August 2025. All assessed quality requirements were found to be in order: the pedagogical policy is well implemented, staff hold the correct qualifications and Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag/VOG), occupancy meets statutory requirements, the premises are safe and sufficiently spacious, and there is an active parent committee. No violations were identified. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Rotterdam not to take enforcement action. The center is currently operating under the name Villa Norlandia; the official name change is in progress.
