Villa Kakelbont Peize is our after-school care location situated at Hoofdstraat 54A in the heart of Peize. As part of Villa Kakelbont Kinderzorg B.V., we have been providing professional after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 years since 2010.
We operate from a Scandinavian vision with a touch of Reggio Emilia, where homeliness, small-scale care, and family are central. Our location accommodates up to 28 children and is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 962687376.
At Villa Kakelbont Peize, we believe in the power of being outdoors. We go outside with the children every day - whether the sun is shining, it's windy, raining, or snowing. Children often find it especially fun to go outside in different weather conditions. These daily outdoor activities contribute to healthy motor development and balanced upbringing.
Our pedagogical approach focuses on stimulating a healthy lifestyle. We set a good example when it comes to healthy nutrition and sufficient exercise. Movement is not only good for physical development but also for language development. Children learn concepts like under, above, over, behind, left, and right by experiencing these through play and movement.

Summary
Villa Kakelbont Peize is an after-school care facility (BSO) in the centre of Peize for a maximum of 25 children aged 4 to 13. GGD Drenthe conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 11 May 2026. The location meets all assessed quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation. The pedagogical policy is in order; staff are familiar with the policy and are involved in making adjustments. Since the takeover by Kinderopvang ZIEN at the end of 2025, active work has been underway to implement the new policy with guidance and coaching. The Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) declarations and registration in the Childcare Personenregister are correct. The staff-to-child ratio is in order, with a registered deviation on school-free days. There is a core group with fixed mentors for the children. The indoor and outdoor spaces are safe and appropriate. The location is registered for 28 places but limits itself to 25; the location manager will arrange for this to be amended in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang).
