Welcome to Thuishuis Kleurrijk, our small-scale after-school care (BSO) located at De Boegen 2 in Oudemirdum. We are part of Thuishuis Stap foar Stap Kleurrijk and provide care for up to 8 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location is housed in a beautiful, characteristic farmhouse from 1905 with a spacious garden of 384 m², where children have plenty of space to play and discover. At Thuishuis Kleurrijk, we believe in the good in people and animals. We offer a positive approach where a child can truly be a child and have a pleasant, warm time. Our vision is to provide small-scale, professional care in a homely atmosphere, in a green, natural environment, with personal care and attention for each child. By providing warmth and security, we give children a good foundation to dare to take initiatives and develop in their own way and at their own pace. Our location is centrally located, yet surrounded by nature. There are animals living on the premises and a large shared playground. We collaborate with farm Kleurrijk, where children occasionally meet the farm's clients on the playground and participate in joint activities. The outdoor air and daily care of animals provide an enrichment to the experiences children gain. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and offer both before-school and after-school care. From our location in Oudemirdum, we provide a pick-up and drop-off service to De Wâlikker primary school. We work with an hourly rate and childcare allowance makes our care affordable for parents.
