Summary

BSO Thuis in Culemborg, part of Kinderhuis de Fuut, was inspected unannounced on 26 May 2025 by GGD Gelderland-Zuid (Municipal Health Service). The childcare center meets all quality requirements after recovery. There were two minor shortcomings: the pedagogical policy plan did not sufficiently describe how children from other locations are cared for on school-free days, and the inspection report had not yet been published on the website. Both points were resolved immediately. The pedagogical practice scores well: children experience emotional safety, receive developmental opportunities, learn social skills and are presented with clear rules. Staff are qualified, attendance ratios are in order and the accommodation is safe and appropriately furnished. No violations were identified. The municipality is advised not to apply enforcement.
