About this care
Welcome to BSO 't Trefhuus, our welcoming after-school care facility in the heart of Overdinkel. We provide children aged 4 to 12 with a safe and stimulating place to relax, play and discover new things after school. Our dedicated team is ready every day to ensure the children have a wonderful time filled with fun activities and personal attention.
Our location at Prins Hendrikstraat 1 is centrally situated and features a large garden where children can play outside to their heart's content every day. We believe in the power of outdoor activities and give children plenty of space to romp, play sports and explore nature. We also regularly organize creative activities such as arts and crafts and cooking, where children can get hands-on with healthy ingredients.
In addition to our regular activities, we also provide before-school care for children from Het Kompas Primary School and Brede School Overdinkel. During teacher training days and school holidays, we are open with a special holiday program featuring extra outings and activities. We work with a permanent team of childcare professionals who know the children well and guide them in their development. After-school care (BSO) 't Trefhuus in Overdinkel, part of Stichting Humankind, was inspected by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Twente on 24 February 2026. This is a small-scale after-school care (BSO) facility with 15 places, located in primary school Het Kompas. The inspection concerned an annual review in the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. Overall, the location meets the statutory requirements. One violation was identified: the staff member present did not hold a valid first aid (EHBO) certificate. Following a recovery offer with a deadline of 7 April 2026, this has been resolved. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
