About this care
BSO ’t Poppeke is located at Hof te Zandeplein 13 in Kloosterzande. We provide after-school care for up to 42 primary-school children aged 4 to 12. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 26 May 2025 under number 182589924.
Our team of 6 to 10 pedagogical staff creates a safe, challenging and welcoming place every afternoon where children can relax and play after school. We work from a homely atmosphere that leaves room for personal initiative, rest and movement.
The premises feature a spacious hall, plenty of storage and an outdoor area that connects to an even larger wooded zone. Parents can use the ample parking area right in front of the building, making drop-off and pick-up smooth and easy.
We collect children from schools in Kloosterzande and the surrounding area and provide them with a warm meal, fruit and drinks. Our activities are tailored to the children’s world of experience: from crafts and outdoor play to quiet reading or simply chatting together. We believe it is important that every child feels seen and valued.

Summary
The annual inspection of 10 August 2026 shows that after-school care (BSO) 't Poppeke in Kloosterzande fully complies with all legal quality requirements. The location, housed in the former town hall, provides care for children aged 4 to 13 in two base groups with a maximum of 42 places. Currently, only base group 1 is open. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) assessed all components positively: general conditions, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights. The pedagogical practice is characterised by sensitive, responsive guidance in which children experience emotional safety and are stimulated in their independence and social development. Staff hold the correct diplomas and there is always sufficient staffing. The indoor and outdoor spaces are safe and meet surface area requirements. No violations, areas for improvement or complaints were identified. The provider responded with delight to the 'beautiful report' as confirmation of daily quality efforts.
