Summary
This Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report dated 18 August 2026 concerns a follow-up investigation at after-school care (BSO) Stoere Stapjes in Utrecht, part of Stichting Kinderopvang Oog in Al. The investigation focused on the resolution of previously identified violations from May 2026 in the area of safety and health. The location, with 60 childcare places for children in groups 0, 1 and 2, was dealing with a mouse infestation and an insufficiently up-to-date safety and health policy. This follow-up investigation has shown that the provider has taken adequate measures: the policy has been updated, the mouse risk has been included in the risk assessment, a protocol has been drawn up and staff are acting in accordance with the agreements. Occasional mouse droppings are still found, but findings are registered and followed up. The GGD concludes that there is permanent recovery.
