The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected after-school care (BSO) Heel-Wijs in Venray on 28 May 2026, part of Stichting Heel-Wijs Health & Education. This was a first annual inspection covering all quality requirements. The location, housed in an Integraal Kind Centrum (IKC) for children aged 2 to 13, has been in operation since January 2025 and provides care for a maximum of 40 children aged 4 to 13 years. At the time of inspection, 18 children were present with 2 staff members. All examined domains meet the legal requirements: general terms and conditions, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights. The pedagogical practice shows an open, relaxed atmosphere in which children are emotionally secure and develop social competence. No violations or points for improvement were identified.
