Summary

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Drenthe conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 15 September 2026 at BSO Steenwijksmoer St. Theresia in Coevorden. The after-school care (BSO) of Kids First accommodates 22 children aged 4-12 and is located in the St. Theresia school. All assessed quality requirements have been met: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights. The pedagogical practice demonstrated a warm, responsive approach with attention to emotional safety and social competence. One point of attention was that the induction period of a new childcare professional did not follow protocol; the location manager and team manager have committed to improving this. No violations were identified and no recovery offer was made.
