BSO Sportief op Stoom is the sports-focused after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 12 in Dorst. Located at Dennenlaan 71, our certified pedagogical staff provide a sporty and challenging program every day.
Our location features a spacious outdoor playground where children can enjoy movement and play. We offer a varied activity program centered around sports and games. Children can let off steam on our sports fields and have plenty of space to be active with friends.
We are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM. On study days and during school holidays, we are open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, so parents can count on us for care during vacation periods as well.

Summary
BSO Sportief op Stoom in Dorst provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 44 children aged 4-13. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection of 16 June 2025 concludes that the location meets all statutory quality requirements. The pedagogical policy is in place and adhered to; the four pedagogical basic objectives (emotional safety, personal and social competence, values transmission) are safeguarded. All staff members hold a valid Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag/VOG) and are correctly registered. The safety and health policy is up to date, staff are familiar with the procedures, and there is always someone with a first aid (EHBO) certificate present. The domestic violence and child abuse reporting code is complete and staff are trained in recognizing and reporting signs. Parents are well informed via the website, there is an active parent committee and a complaints procedure; no complaints were received in 2024. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. Recovery measures are not needed. The municipality of Oosterhout is advised not to take enforcement action.
