SKSG Grootegast

Welcome to BSO SKSG Grootegast, located in the heart of Grootegast at Hoofdstraat 81. As part of SKSG, the largest childcare organization in Northern Netherlands, we provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO groups Mallemolen and Carrousel are specifically designed to meet the needs of school-age children who require relaxation, play and challenges after school. We operate according to SKSG's five pillars: Sports & Movement, Cooking & Nutrition, Nature & Sustainability, Science & Technology, and Arts & Culture. These pillars are reflected in our daily activity offerings. Think of sports games like live Stratego, creative workshops, cooking activities where children prepare healthy snacks themselves, and nature excursions to places like the petting zoo or barefoot path. During school holidays, we organize extra outings such as cinema visits. Our pedagogical staff pick up children from primary schools in the immediate area. We collaborate with Christal primary school and other schools in Grootegast. After school, there's time for a healthy snack and drink, after which children can choose from various activities or play freely in our spacious garden. We offer both indoor and outdoor play opportunities. Parents can follow their child's experiences through the SKSG parent portal. We're open on all school-free days, half-days and holidays from 7:30 to 18:00. For parents requiring additional care, pre-school care (VSO) is available from 7:15. We work with fixed, professional teams that give each child the personal attention they deserve.
