About this care
Welcome to BSO Schaapshonk, located at Stakman Bossestraat 73 in Noordwijk. We are part of Humankind and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. Our small-scale location welcomes up to 22 children, allowing us to give every child personal attention.
At Schaapshonk, children enjoy new adventures every day. We craft, bake cookies and even make our own soap. These creative activities are at the heart of our programme, sparking curiosity and supporting each child’s development. We are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:45 to 18:30. Wednesday and Friday we are closed.
Our professional pedagogical staff are ready every day—with heart, mind and hands—to offer children a safe and stimulating environment. Summary
BSO Schaapshonk in Noordwijk provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 22 children aged 4–12. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection of 20 January 2025 shows that the location meets all statutory quality requirements. The pedagogical staff have a warm, relaxed bond with the children, know their individual needs, and offer varied activities that provide both calm and challenge. All staff hold the required diplomas and certificates of conduct, staffing levels meet the standards, and there is always someone present with a valid pediatric first aid certificate. The spaces are safe, more than adequate, and appropriately furnished. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The organization received no recovery order, and the municipality was advised not to take enforcement measures.
