About this care
Elorah Lunteren is our Christian Reformed after-school care (BSO) located in School with the Bible Ruitenbeek at Ruitenbeekweg 111, Lunteren. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 and work closely with the school. The Bible is at the heart of our daily routine; from God’s Word the children discover the talents they have received from Him.
Our location is small-scale and homely: there is room for a maximum of 24 children, ensuring every child receives the personal attention they deserve. We are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday until 6.30 p.m. During these hours we offer a warm and safe environment where children can play, relax and learn together with peers. We actively involve parents in their child’s development and align our programme with familiar home routines.
As part of the Elorah Foundation we share the conviction that every child is unique and precious. Our pedagogical staff have a Christian Reformed background and are well trained. Together with the school and parents we work on a continuous learning line in which language, numeracy, motor and social-emotional skills are stimulated in a playful way. In this way we lovingly prepare your child for the future.Read more
GGD Inspection
Violations
Inspection date: May 19, 2026
Strengths
- All staff members meet education and language requirements and are registered
- The pedagogical policy staff member is effectively deployed for coaching
- The safety and health policy is well implemented, including clear agreements about outdoor play
- The domestic violence and child abuse reporting protocol is known and accessible to staff
- The accommodation amply meets space requirements, with an extensive outdoor play area
- Parents are well informed via the website and newsletters
Violations
- The pedagogical policy did not match actual practice: children were already inside the after-school care (BSO) space without a qualified staff member present, while the policy stipulated that all children would walk together with a qualified staff member from school to the BSO
Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected after-school care (BSO) Elorah Lunteren on 19 May 2026. The after-school care of Stichting Kibeo accommodates 14 children aged 4–13. In the areas of staffing, safety and health, accommodation, and parental rights, the location meets all requirements. Regarding the pedagogical climate, there was initially a shortcoming: the pedagogical policy stated that all children would walk together with a qualified staff member from school to the BSO, but in practice some children were already inside unsupervised. The holder received a recovery offer and amended the policy: children from group 5 onwards may independently walk to the BSO room with parental consent, after reporting to the pedagogical professional at school. Following this recovery, the location now meets all quality requirements.
