About this care
BSO-plus Keerkring is located at SBO De Keerkring on Rembrandtlaan 50 in Woerden. We provide after-school care exclusively for students of De Keerkring primary school. Our facility is situated both inside and outside the school building, allowing children to transition seamlessly from school to after-school care in a familiar environment.
We work in close collaboration with KMN Kind&Co, who organizes the after-school care program. Care is provided on weekdays after school hours and during school holidays. There are no costs to parents for during-school care, which is provided by the school team. After-school care and holiday care do incur charges.
Our BSO serves children aged 4 to 12 who attend De Keerkring primary school. We offer a safe and familiar environment where children can play, relax, and participate in enjoyable activities. The location features its own outdoor space and utilizes the school's facilities.

Summary
BSO Keerkring in Woerden provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 22 children aged 4-12 in a group for children with support needs. The inspection took place on 19 June 2025. The pedagogical climate, staffing/groups and safety are compliant after recovery; the parental rights component remains non-compliant. Strengths include the trusting relationships, calm conflict management, clear rules against bullying and the use of support plans. Areas for improvement were the lack of concrete descriptions in the pedagogical work plan regarding base group, mentorship and observation method, and the absence of location-specific measures against bullying in the safety plan; both were resolved in July 2025. One violation remains: the 2024 complaints annual report was not communicated to parents simultaneously and appropriately. No recovery offer is possible as this constitutes recurrence. The municipality is advised to enforce.
