Welcome to Sam&koos, our after-school care location at Ceintuurbaan 10 in Deventer. We provide after-school care for 30 school-age children from 4 to 12 years in a beautiful old building with plenty of space to play and discover. Our BSO is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Our permanent team of qualified pedagogical staff is ready every day with great enthusiasm and pleasure for you and your child. We have cozy group rooms and both indoors and outdoors there is plenty of space to play. Your child can go in any direction with us! We work from the vision of Sam&ko: stimulating curiosity, discovering and playing together in a challenging environment. We find it important that children feel safe and comfortable with us. Summary
GGD IJsselland conducted an unannounced annual inspection at after-school care (BSO) Sam &koos in Deventer on 24 February 2026. The location, part of Raster Kinderopvang B.V., accommodates 30 children aged 4-12 in a characteristic school building in the old Ziekenhuisbuurt neighbourhood. On the day of inspection, 21 children and 2 staff members were present, along with 1 trainee. All assessed domains meet the Childcare Act requirements: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and accommodation. The location has 111 m² of indoor play space and its own outdoor play area. All staff hold a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and have the correct qualifications. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The previous inspection on 8 September 2025 revealed a violation regarding safety and health, which was resolved through a recovery offer. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
