Summary

The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected after-school care (BSO) Puntsgewijs in Leidschendam on 19 March 2026. The after-school care accommodates up to 44 children (ages 4-12) and is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Zoeterwoude. The pedagogical climate was assessed positively: practice aligns with policy and fun activities are offered. The location also complies with qualification requirements, staff-child ratios and parental rights. However, three violations were identified: one staff member was not linked to the Childcare Personnel Register (Personenregister Kinderopvang/PRK), staff had insufficient knowledge of the reporting code for domestic violence and child abuse, and the mandatory reporting, consultation and filing obligations had been insufficiently promoted. Additionally, no valid Pediatric First Aid (Kinder-EHBO) certificate was present after 17:30 hours. The holder used recovery offers for the first three violations; these have been resolved. The Pediatric First Aid certificate has now also been obtained (17 May 2026).
