Welcome to Puck&Co KindCentrum Brede School Noord, located at de Plataan 32a in Didam. We are part of Kindercentra Puck&Co and provide professional after-school care within Kindcentrum de Ontdekking. Our BSO accommodates 77 children and works closely with Albert Schweitzer Primary School, with whom we share the same building.
We offer before and after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 years. Our pedagogical staff are trained in the Dalton educational philosophy, which encourages children to be independent and take responsibility. Children do what they can do themselves - from tidying up cups to going to the toilet independently.
Thanks to our unique location within the school, we have access to all the facilities that Kindcentrum de Ontdekking offers. We work closely with the teachers of the early grades, ensuring a smooth transition between school and childcare. The doors between our groups and the kindergarten classes are regularly open so children can meet each other.

Summary
Puck&Co KindCentrum Brede School Noord in Didam provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 48 children aged 4 to 13 years. During the annual unannounced inspection visit on 7 October 2025, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Noord- en Oost-Gelderland identified no shortcomings whatsoever. The location scores positively on all examined quality requirements: the pedagogical policy is clear and consistently applied, staff are qualified and hold valid Certificates of Conduct (Verklaringen omtrent gedrag/VOGs), the staffing ratio is in order, and safety protocols (domestic violence reporting code, reporting and notification obligations) are known and current. Children experience emotional safety, are offered diverse developmental activities, and are encouraged in social interaction and building independence. There are currently no trainees or alternatively qualified staff working at the location. The municipality of Montferland is advised not to take enforcement measures.
