About this care
Welcome to Dak Theresia, our standalone and spacious after-school care located at Theresiastraat 310 in The Hague's Bezuidenhout district. Since 2004, we have been part of Stichting DAK kindercentra and provide care for up to 74 children aged 4 to 13.
Our location is situated right next to the recreational field on Spaarwaterstraat. Children can play and exercise here safely, and older children are even allowed to use the adjacent playground with parental permission. Inside, we have 288 m² of play space divided across three base groups. The outdoor area covers no less than 510 m², ensuring there is always plenty of room for movement and play.
Our activity program is diverse and engaging. Children can cook, paint, make music, and participate in sports activities. We believe in the power of play and creative expression. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with great care and attention, allowing them to relax and develop after school.
Dak Theresia is a place where children feel at home. We work with qualified staff who are all registered in the childcare personnel register. Our location meets all legal quality requirements, and we strive every day to ensure the highest quality of service.Read more

Summary
Dak Theresia is an after-school care (BSO) in Den Haag for up to 74 children aged 4-13, operated by Stichting DAK kindercentra since 2004. An unannounced incidental inspection on 19 February 2026 identified three violations in the areas of safety and parental rights. Two violations concerned insufficient staff knowledge of the domestic violence/child abuse reporting code and the reporting, consultation and duty to notify; these were successfully resolved through a recovery offer. The third violation concerns an incompletely published complaints procedure on the website, for which recovery has remained incomplete. Staff qualifications, child-to-staff ratio and safety policy do meet requirements.
Reviews
DAK Theresia. Een gezellige BSO locatie, waar kinderen van alle leeftijden met elkaar spelen. Maar zich ook even lekker kunnen terug trekken, chillen ...
