Summary

GGD West-Brabant conducted a registration inspection on 19 May 2026 at BSO Op de Markt in Oud Gastel, a new after-school care facility of Stichting Kinderopvang Oud Gastel. The location accommodates a maximum of 37 children (ages 6–8) across two groups in a building at Markt 13. Operations are scheduled to commence on 1 June 2026. The GGD concludes that the facility can reasonably be expected to operate in accordance with the Childcare Act. All assessed topics meet legal requirements, including pedagogical policy, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation, and parental rights. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The operator must still submit an up-to-date floor plan following renovation to demonstrate that the rooms are designated as habitable spaces. The municipality of Halderberge is advised to include this facility in the National Childcare Register (LRK).
