About this care
Nijnsel BSO is part of De Verbinding and is located within primary school De Sterjasmijn at Jasmijnstraat 11A in Sint-Oedenrode. Our after-school care accommodates up to 46 children aged 4 to 12 years. We work closely with the school, aligning our themes and methods to create a familiar and supportive environment—especially beneficial for children with additional support needs.
The care is organized into two horizontal age groups, ensuring that activities and guidance are tailored to each child’s developmental stage. We are open on school days from 14:00 to 17:45. During school holidays and study days, we provide care from 07:30 to 17:45, offering flexibility for parents year-round.
Children can enjoy a safe and engaging space for rest, play, and development. We primarily welcome children from Nijnsel and the surrounding area who continue on to De Sterjasmijn. GGD Hart voor Brabant conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at after-school care (BSO) Nijnsel in Sint-Oedenrode on 20 May 2026, commissioned by the municipality of Meierijstad. The inspection was carried out following an application to expand the number of childcare places from 46 to 50. The location, part of childcare organisation De Verbinding, provides before-school, after-school and holiday care for children aged 4 to 13 years in two base groups. All assessed areas (general conditions, pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation) met the statutory quality requirements.
