About this care
Welcome to BSO NatuurTuin Zuid, located at Wolfslaardreef 95 in Breda. We are part of Kober childcare, a trusted organization with over 200 locations in West-Brabant. Our after-school care is the place for children who love to play outdoors and have a passion for animals. We provide a rich environment where children can discover, play and learn.
Every day is different at NatuurTuin Zuid. We work with the DoenKids program, a database full of activities that we carry out together with the children. From finger painting to building huts, from caring for animals to adventures in nature. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with great pleasure and ensure a steady rhythm, with room for their own initiative and creativity.
Our location is right next to Wolfslaar Farm, an educational farm where children can interact with various farm animals. We regularly collaborate with IVN (Institute for Nature Education) and the Food Forest Gnomes. Recently, our children helped plant the first food forest in Breda. These collaborations make our after-school care unique and offer children the opportunity to learn about nature, sustainability and animal welfare in a playful way.
At our facility, children have all the space they need to feel, see, smell, taste, move and play. We believe in the power of outdoor play and learning through discovery. Our outdoor area is both safe and challenging, with plenty of opportunities for adventurous play. We find it important that children feel at home with us and that parents know their children are in good hands.

Violations
- Five structurally present volunteers ('farmers') did not have a valid Certificate of Good Conduct for Childcare (VOG Kinderopvang) and were not registered and linked in the Childcare Person Register (PRK)
- Three of the five farmers were still not registered and linked in the PRK as of 25 March 2026
- Two farmers did have a VOG but received it outside the set recovery deadline
- One farmer was registered but 17 days outside the recovery deadline
Summary
GGD West-Brabant conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 19 January 2026 at BSO NatuurTuin Zuid in Breda, located at the Wolfslaar children's farm. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates up to 20 children aged 6 to 12 years. The pedagogical quality and parental rights meet statutory requirements. However, a violation was identified regarding personnel and groups: five volunteers ('farmers') at the children's farm did not have a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag/VOG) for childcare and were not registered in the Childcare Person Register (Personenregister Kinderopvang/PRK). Despite a recovery offer with a deadline of 6 March 2026, the violation was not fully remedied. The provider did take measures and ended contact between unlinked farmers and children. The GGD advises the municipality of Breda to enforce.
