About this care
Welcome to preschool/toddler care Harlekijn Maasland! We offer a safe and stimulating environment where children aged 1.5 to 4 years can develop through play. Our location is situated at Stationsstraat 54, where we make use of two rooms. There are two groups: a younger group for new children and an older group for children who are nearly 3 years old.
We work with the VVE programme Uk en Puk, which focuses on the broad development of toddlers. This includes language, early numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional development. In addition to playing with developmental materials, we also offer creative activities such as crafts, painting and clay modelling. Every day we aim to play outside or exercise indoors in the gym for at least half an hour.
Our team consists of five experienced childcare practitioners who ensure a warm and safe atmosphere. We are open on school days from 08:45 to 11:45 and follow the official school holidays. BSO Maxi in Schipluiden, part of Harlekijn Opvang en Dienstverlening B.V., was inspected on 11 May 2026 by GGD Haaglanden (Municipal Health Service Haaglanden).
