About this care
Welcome to BSO Kleuterwijs, located at Lavendelveld 23 in the De Huet district of Doetinchem. We are part of Humankind, an organization that has been providing trusted childcare for over 20 years. Our location is small-scale and offers care for up to 15 children aged 4 to 12. Situated in the heart of the neighborhood, near the park and close to De Plattenburg primary school, we ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care.
At Kleuterwijs, we work from Humankind’s vision: challenging children, stimulating their independence, and giving them space to discover themselves. We believe that children who are allowed to experience, decide, and make mistakes will truly flourish. Our pedagogical staff provide a safe and homely environment where every child feels seen and valued. We encourage children to contribute ideas about the layout of the space and the activities offered, fostering a sense of ownership and allowing them to develop their interests.
Our after-school care is open for after-school hours, during school holidays, and on study days. We collaborate with parents and the school to ensure our care aligns as closely as possible with the child’s needs.
