Kleine Ark

Welcome to BSO Kleine Ark, located inside primary school In de Lichtkring at Naarderweg 2, Zeewolde. We are a small-scale, Christian after-school care centre where children aged 4 to 12 can play, explore and relax in safety after the school day ends. Our qualified staff welcome the children straight after school in our dedicated space within the school. The afternoon starts with a shared moment: a chat over fresh fruit and a drink. Then there is plenty of time for outdoor play in the playground and nearby green areas, including the school garden and sports fields. Indoors we offer activities that match the children’s world of experience: crafts, cooking, construction, sports and games, and creative projects. Twice a week a warm, nutritious meal is served, prepared with fresh ingredients. Older children can use a quiet corner for homework or reading, supported by our staff when needed. We regularly organise outings to the local playground, the woods or cultural sites in and around Zeewolde. Our groups are organised by age: one group for 4-7 year olds and one for 7-12 year olds, allowing us to tailor activities to each child’s developmental stage. The school entrance provides a safe and controlled entry point; parents check their child in via the intercom system. We work closely with the teachers of In de Lichtkring to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care.
