Kinderopvang Flakkee B.V. (after-school care/BSO) in Dirksland was inspected unannounced on 20 August 2026 by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) Rotterdam-Rijnmond. The after-school care accommodates 52 children aged 4 to 13 years and is housed in a multifunctional centre. All inspected quality requirements were met: pedagogical policy and practice, staff qualifications, staff-to-child ratios, Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) registration, parent information, parent committee and complaints handling. The pedagogical practice was positive: staff responded sensitively, supported children in interactions and provided structure. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The provider agrees with the findings. The previous annual inspection (February 2025) did show violations, for which a recovery offer was made and successfully used. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement.
